Beautiful: The Carole King Musical is a jukebox musical with a book by Douglas McGrath that tells the story of the early life and career of Carole King, using songs that she wrote, often together with Gerry Goffin, and other contemporary songs by Barry Mann, Cynthia Weil, Phil Spector and others. This is the title song.

"One Night Only" is a song from the 1981 Broadway musical Dreamgirls, In the context of the musical, "One Night Only" is performed twice in succession, as differing versions of the song — a soul ballad by the character Effie White and a disco version by her former bandmates Deena Jones & the Dreams. Our version combines both of these versions.
